About The Position

The Physical Therapist Aide serves as a liaison between patients and the Physical Therapist, assisting patients from arrival through departure and helping ensure a positive experience. The position supports the treatment facility by maintaining cleanliness and an orderly environment, handling laundry, bringing patients from the waiting room to treatment, and answering calls and scheduling patients as needed. Other duties may be assigned. JAG Physical Therapy is a comprehensive outpatient orthopedic physical therapy company with more than 150 facilities throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to changing situations.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work as a team member and individually with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities

• Call patients from the waiting room into treatment.
• Maintain a clean facility throughout the day.
• Wash and dry laundry and ensure clean towels are available.
• Work with the team to help provide patients with a positive experience.
• Maintain a positive, professional demeanor.
• Keep a safe and orderly work environment.
• Answer phone calls and schedule patients as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
