About The Position

Stream Data Centers is seeking a highly talented and motivated Security Systems Technician to join their Corporate Security team. This role will focus on maintaining, managing, and supporting all Stream Data Center-owned electronic security systems, with a primary focus on the PHX campus in Goodyear. The Corporate Security department is responsible for specifying, purchasing, configuring, and maintaining all in-house electronic security equipment. Requirements

  • 2+ Years of Physical Security Technology or Operational experience.
  • Training and experience with Access Control Systems and Digital Monitoring Products.
  • LenelS2 Certification preferred or end user experience.
  • Milestone VMS Certification is preferred or end user experience.
  • Working knowledge of electronic Key Management applications.
  • Basic knowledge of networks and Windows server machines.
  • Basic knowledge of utilizing ticketing systems for tracking and triaging of support issues.
  • Basic Computer Skills (MS Office and Outlook)
  • Able to plan, organize, and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills (verbally and written).

Responsibilities

  • Remote and onsite troubleshooting of physical security systems for all Stream DC locations.
  • Lifecycle management of support requests from onsite Security and Operations personnel.
  • In-bound call management of all critical ACS, VMS and Security system issues.
  • Documentation management of all current security policies and assisting development of procedures for full Security system programming and other Security related applications.
  • Assist with project management deliverables for all security system installations and upgrades.
  • Monitor and maintain existing SDC Security systems functionality with maximum up time.
  • Generate system reports for customers and to support internal SDC needs.
  • Lifecycle management of all physical security system endpoint devices.
  • Retrieve approved video footage as required for legal, law enforcement, or operational review.
  • Assist in managing all security-related vendors for installations, ongoing service, and repairs to ensure timelines are met.
  • Document all critical evolutions and lessons learned to ensure efficiency gains in processes.
  • Assist in developing SDC Security Systems End User Training Documents and Videos.
  • Provide remote commissioning support for new design builds and construction deliverables.
  • Provide support to SDC Compliance for SOC2 and PCI auditing initiatives.
