As a Physical Security Officer you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on Physical Security Officer joining our team to: ● Input security badge updates in the local badging system as each user request has been approved by the local data center access control process. ● Conduct data entry, where applicable, to give access to all approved data center access request. ●Adhere to the practices and processes identified for the site. ● Maintain an audit for all granted accesses to the data center. ● Compare their respective audit log against electronic badge system logs for completeness and anomaly resolution. ● Be the POC for data center access control during normal business hours as defined by the respective site. ● Approve access to data centers as defined published guidance. ● Assist in the development and coordination of Data Center access training. ● Coordinate confirmation of data center management and access training. ● Report any failures to follow procedures or unauthorized access to the DCMT. ● Collect and report site data center metrics to include tracking of data center visitors and approval/denial of entrance. ● Draft and update Standard Operation Procedures manuals/guides for data center access management. ● Assist other team members in various data center management tasks as determined by the program site lead. ● Be detail-orientated ● Display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • minimum 2+ years of related experience
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and standard computer applications
  • TS/SCI w/Poly
  • Ability to work within a customer-oriented environment and provide quality service, participate productively as a contributing member in a team environment, and communicate effectively using a variety of styles and techniques appropriate to the audience

  • Use of the Intelligence Community badging system is considered a positive
