About The Position

St. Barnabas, an Independence Mission School, is seeking a Physical Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidate will model outstanding character in accordance with Catholic teachings, support students’ moral formation, and create a positive classroom atmosphere. The teacher will set high behavioral and academic expectations, use student growth data to inform instruction, and pursue professional growth through coaching, grade-level teamwork, and professional development. The role also involves contributing to the school community through coaching and moderating extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• High school degree.
• Clearance on all required background checks.
• Commitment to professional growth and applying skills learned through coaching, grade-level teamwork, and professional development.
