About The Position

At St. John Vianney Catholic School, Christ stands as the heart of our program which proposes an integral human formation in theological, moral, and intellectual virtue for its students. Under the supervision of the Principal, the selected candidate is responsible for playing a key role in fulfillment of St. John Vianney Catholic School’s mission of Catholic education by teaching Physical Education classes at St. John Vianney Catholic School on a part-time basis for the academic year 2026-2027. There is potential for committed candidates to expand their role in this position by assuming additional responsibilities related to sports activities, scheduling, and additional program developments.

Requirements

• Lives and teaches in a way that is faithful to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
• Active Tennessee teaching license and/or Catholic educator credential
• 1+ years of prior teaching experience

Responsibilities

• Teaching Physical Education classes on a part-time basis for the academic year 2026-2027.
