About The Position

The Athabasca Denesuline Education Authority (ADEA) serves the Denesuline First Nations communities of Black Lake, Hatchet Lake, and Fond du Lac in northern Saskatchewan. Supporting approximately 1,300 students, ADEA is committed to strong teaching, innovative programming, and the integration of Denesuline culture and language throughout learning. ADEA invites applications for a full-time permanent Physical Education Teacher at Father Porte Memorial Dene School (FPMDS) in Black Lake, Saskatchewan. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to student achievement, support a strong school community, and advance education grounded in Denesuline culture and community values. FPMDS is a Kindergarten to Grade 12 school serving more than 300 students with a dedicated professional and paraprofessional staff team. Reporting to the Principal and/or Vice Principal, the Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, supporting school improvement, collaborating with staff and administration, and maintaining professional growth.

Requirements

Bachelor of Education degree or equivalent
