About The Position

Euro School of Tennis is seeking reliable, energetic, and positive coaches to teach beginner-level programs to children ages 5–10 (Grades K–5) at schools throughout the Bay Area. The role is in person, and the company provides lesson plans and equipment. Coaches help create a fun, active, safe, and supportive learning environment for young players.

Available programs include regular coaching in tennis and other programs, generally Monday through Friday around 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, and Saturday tennis clinics on Saturdays and/or Sundays. Back-to-back sessions may be available. These opportunities are available to coaches who demonstrate strong tennis and coaching skills. The posting lists program pay of $18–$24 per hour and also states compensation of $50.00–$65.00 per hour.

Applicants must attend a two-day unpaid training/shadowing session, with sessions lasting 2–3 hours each. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

• Be at least 19 years old.
• Enjoy working with children.
• Have strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Complete required employment screening and documentation.
• Provide a photo and short biography for the company website.
• Currently live in the Bay Area and be available for in-person work.

Nice To Haves

• Playing or coaching experience is preferred but not required.
• USPTA or PTR certification is a plus.
• Demonstrate strong tennis and coaching skills for the listed program opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes using company lesson plans.
• Manage groups of 8–16 students.
• Create a safe and positive learning environment.
• Attend a two-day unpaid training/shadowing session, with 2–3 hours per session.
• Take attendance and manage student sign-in and sign-out.
• Communicate professionally with parents and school staff.
• Take a few class photos for program documentation.
