About The Position

We are seeking a Physiatrist specializing in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation for a permanent position in Schenectady, NY. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient services within a facility that has 115 beds. The coverage is for a vacancy and is needed ASAP on an ongoing basis. The work schedule is to be determined but will be during the day. The practice consists of 8 physicians and support staff including Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Backup is available from medical and surgical consultants, as well as internal medicine physicians. The case mix includes brain injury, stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, amputee rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary conditions, and orthopedic rehabilitation. The office is equipped with specialized equipment such as ReWalk, Ekso, RT300, Xcite, and BURT.

Requirements

• Active NY License
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
• DEA
• Clean record (highly preferred)
• NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active)

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient services in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• Manage cases including brain injury, stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, amputee rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary conditions, and orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as ReWalk, Ekso, RT300, Xcite, and BURT.
