About The Position
We are seeking a Physiatrist specializing in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation for a Locum Tenens position in Wilmington, NC. This inpatient role involves clinical duties and call coverage from October 1, 2026, ongoing. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with backup call responsibilities. The average daily patient volume is 30, with 0-1 admissions and 0-1 phone consults per day. The department has 33 beds, and the role requires supervision of 3-4 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
Requirements
- Licensed in NC
- BLS certification
- Fellowship required
- Medical management procedures

Responsibilities
- Supervise 3-4 APPs
- Work with interdisciplinary team
- Lead team conferences
- Manage inpatient rehab census (max 33 patients)
- Provide robust consultation service for 25-40 patients
