About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Physiatrist to join their multidisciplinary team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. This role offers a diverse clinical opportunity with exposure to inpatient rehabilitation, inpatient consultation, outpatient care, and electrodiagnostic medicine. There are also opportunities to participate in medical education, research, and quality improvement initiatives. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center, and North Central Bronx Hospital has 213 licensed beds. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Requirements

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
• Active or eligible for a New York State medical license

Responsibilities

• Practice at a Level I Trauma Center and Burn Unit.
• Provide care on a 12-bed inpatient rehabilitation service.
• Participate in the inpatient rehabilitation consultation service.
• Provide outpatient rehabilitation and EMG/NCS services at North Central Bronx and Jacobi.
• Engage in academic teaching, including medical student and resident education and training.
• Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
