About The Position
WellSpan is growing its Inpatient Physiatry practice in rural Lewisburg, PA. This is a hospital-based practice with no outpatient responsibilities. The Physiatrist will manage a 12-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit, seeing patients post-surgical, with TBI, concussions, joint replacements, strokes, and any patient requiring rehabilitation. The role also involves providing consults at WellSpan Evangelical Hospital, a 131-bed, CMS rated 5-star hospital.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire or Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire
- American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation or Board eligible. Upon Hire
- Completion of a Pediatric residency. Upon Hire
- Administrative skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage a 12-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit.
- See patients post-surgical, with TBI, concussions, joint replacements, strokes, and any patient requiring rehabilitation.
- Provide consults at WellSpan Evangelical Hospital.
