Physiatrist - 0.70 FTE (On-Site)
About The Position
Morlen Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physiatrist to join the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation team at Kaiser North Lancaster Medical Center in Salem, OR. This physician will be part of an integrated and collaborative team of 9 physicians and 3 physician assistants, supported by experienced clinical and administrative staff. The role is part-time (0.70 FTE) and primarily procedure-focused, with approximately three days devoted to procedures and a half day of clinic. The position requires expertise in musculoskeletal ultrasound procedures, electrodiagnosis, and rehabilitation consultation. The physician must be able to perform EMGs and ultrasound-guided shoulder and hip injections. Clinical responsibilities include ultrasound-guided hip and shoulder injections, epidural steroid injections, SI joint injections, Botox for limb spasticity, electrodiagnosis, and differential diagnosis involving the cervical spine and shoulder as well as the lumbar spine and hip. Virtual care may be incorporated when clinically appropriate. This is an on-site position.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)
- 3+ years of practice experience
- Expertise in musculoskeletal ultrasound procedures and electrodiagnosis
- Ability to perform EMGs
- Ability to perform ultrasound-guided shoulder and hip injections
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound-guided hip and shoulder injections
