About The Position
HCRC Staffing is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician (Physiatrist) to join an established, physician-led group in Morristown, New Jersey. The role provides consultations and follow-up care in post-acute rehabilitation settings, with physicians maintaining a regular presence in facilities and supporting patients throughout the rehabilitation process. The physician works collaboratively with patients, families, rehabilitation teams, other providers, and facility leadership to promote strong patient outcomes. Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R).
- Active New Jersey medical license.
- Active DEA and CDS.
Responsibilities
- Perform PM&R consultations and provide follow-up care in post-acute rehabilitation settings.
- Round on patients regularly and monitor their functional progress.
- Collaborate with rehabilitation teams, physicians, facility leadership, and families.
- Attend interdisciplinary rehabilitation meetings.
- Maintain accurate documentation, coding, and billing.
- Build and maintain strong referral relationships within facilities.
- Work closely with Physician Assistants, primary care physicians, orthopedists, and other providers.
