About The Position

Concentra is seeking a Physiatrist / Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist to provide on-site specialist services as a 1099 independent contractor. The role is intended to complement the clinician’s current practice, typically involving patient care at a Concentra location for approximately a four-hour shift weekly or biweekly. Scheduling is flexible with consideration of the clinician’s private practice.

Concentra Advanced Specialists assist with medically complex patients, return-to-work coordination, and functional restoration. Working collaboratively with medical and therapy providers, the Physiatrist provides services, including EMGs and NCS, for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries. The role also involves communicating with employers and actively participating in case management. Compensation is determined by a revenue-share model.

Requirements

• Must be able to perform EMGs and NCS.
• Meet the licensure requirements of the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program at an accredited university.
• Hold an unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
• Board certified or board eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Maintain medical malpractice insurance that covers work on site.

• Preferred experience treating patients with work-related injuries.
