About The Position
Locum tenens Physiatrist providing inpatient Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation services in Sugarland, Texas. Coverage includes clinical care and beeper call, with a one-hour call response time. Coverage is needed ASAP and continues on an ongoing basis due to a vacancy associated with department restructuring. The average daily patient volume is 11, with 21–22 admissions. The physician rounds on assigned patients. The facility uses Protouch and ProDoc and has support from 1–6 RNs and four office staff. Hospital privileges are not required; temporary privileges are available.
Requirements
- Board certified.
- Licensed in Texas.
- BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient clinical care in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
- Provide beeper call coverage and respond within one hour.
- Round on assigned patients.
