About The Position

Responsible for tactically monitoring the health of area processes, ensuring expedient lot movement, and reacting to area process issues that could impact quality, cycle time (CT) or turns. Support existing processes, identify process and material improvements and correct process deviations. Ensure the quality process of daily operations, communicate process holds, and execute action plans. Write and modify recipes to enable efficient tool processing and experimentation. Run and oversee progress on critical process related experiments. Support and monitor area processes and tools and addresses/escalates issues. Analyze data to make critical decisions and drive cost reduction activities. Support resolution of area CT/capacity related issues. Monitor equipment usage and production efficiency to ensure max output and turns. Provide QDR documentation and proactive follow-up on issues and excursions. Respond to chronic SPC performance issues by driving to fix root cause. Provide troubleshooting support for complex process problems. Support area projects to ensure deliverables are completed within the required scope, schedule and budget. Track actions and provide escalation path or resources to ensure actions will be completed on time. Coordinate and lead meetings and initiates follow-up actions. Perform and facilitate audits and submit good catches on safety issues. Reduce incidents of personal injuries, safety hazards or environmental releases. Follow proper management practices to ensure safety and quality expectations are met. Ensure proper tool documentation/reaction mechanisms exist and submits updates to content when needed. Partner with 1st shift teams to resolve tool process issues and maximize tool output. Collaborate with supervisor and areas leaders to create personal performance and development goals. Communicate with MDE shift and Shift Ops leaders on the daily priorities and issues. Participate in TPM Teams, SPC, and other meetings. Partner with other shift Engineers/Technicians to gather input for area improvement. Communicate issues that could cause yield loss, excursions, defects, tool restrictions, or output loss. Partner with 1st shift MDE and Shift Ops to ensure existing process hold impacts are minimized. Communicate known impacts of special processing requests and potential process holds to Shift Ops and 1st shift Process Owners.

Requirements

  • Utilizing data extraction, analysis, and reporting skills to support decision-making and cost reduction activities
  • Project management and planning, involving supporting area projects, tracking actions, and ensuring deliverables are completed on time
  • Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles to monitor and respond to process performance issues
  • Coding programs/languages, including Python, SQL, or R
  • APC/FDC/RMS
