About The Position

WSTM/WSTQ/WTVH is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and creative News Editor. This role involves editing video for daily news coverage, special projects, and sweep period pieces, as well as taking in news feeds from various news bureaus and organizations. The editor will collaborate with anchors, reporters, and producers on video elements for newscasts and must be able to meet daily deadlines in a high-energy working environment.

Requirements

• College degree or minimum one (1) year relative experience in the field
• Ability to work with a multitude of people and personalities while maintaining a professional work environment

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Final Cut Pro and Avid NewsCutter XP editing technology is a definite plus
