About The Position

This is a seasonal Photo Team Manager position based in Woodbury, MN, with a hybrid work model involving both remote and onsite work at various school locations. The role requires the individual to reside in or around Woodbury, MN. The Photo Team Manager will oversee and inspire a team of photographers to capture K-12 student moments, managing logistics, training, and event execution. The position runs from June through November, with potential extension into December, and offers an average of 30+ hours per week with overtime opportunities. Paid training is provided, and no prior photography experience is required. Requirements

Proven success in managing teams and driving performance under pressure.
A four-year degree or equivalent combination of education, customer service, and general business experience.
Exceptional ability to connect with and lead a team, clients, and partners at all levels.
Ability to juggle multiple tasks without missing a beat.
Comfortable using computers and learning new programs quickly.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and maintain energy throughout busy photo days.
Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, and travel as needed within your assigned area.
Valid Driver's License.
Access to a reliable, insured vehicle large enough to transport equipment (i.e. sedan +).
Ability to interact with students of all ages and abilities, creating a positive and engaging atmosphere.
Maintain grooming and demeanor that reflects Jostens’ corporate image.
Consistent access to a dependable cell phone and internet service.
May be required to complete additional background/health screenings as determined by state specific policies.
Must reside in Woodbury, MN or surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

Oversee and inspire a team of photographers to capture student moments.
Manage photo day logistics, including scheduling photographers and coordinating equipment.
Identify local training locations and partner with the Training Specialist to train the team.
Provide on-the-job guidance for new hires.
Research and determine centralized storage locations for photography equipment.
Oversee equipment storage, organization, and coordination of equipment pickups.
Coordinate weekly pickups for photography hard drives.
Prepare all photography gear for shipment at the end of the season.
Partner with HR to conduct interviews and hire Photographers.
Directly manage Photographers within the Hub.
Manage school assignments and Photographer scheduling.
Ensure clear communication of photo day details to photographers and school contacts.
Establish expectations with photographers for adherence to standards and attendance.
Attend/lead weekly, virtual team meetings.
Partner with the Travel Coordinator for hotel reservation needs.
Oversee and approve Photographer expenses, manage overtime and travel needs.
Understand and execute JostensPIX photography protocols.
Work some events as a Photographer or Event Lead when needed.
Attend 2-3 Photo Day events per week as additional support.
Ensure smooth operations, including equipment setup and troubleshooting tech issues.
Travel to schools within the assigned Hub as needed.
