About The Position

36Pix, the world’s largest green screen extraction service provider, specializes in school photography capture and development and has been doing so for over 25 years. The studio works with more than 800 schools across Canada. Our approach is based on professional photography, a stress free experience for students, and guaranteed quality. Under the supervision of the production team, the person in this role will primarily be responsible for cropping photographs according to established standards. They may also be involved in various stages of preproduction, including green screen extraction for group photos, importing images into the system, and creating orders.

Requirements

Secondary school diploma or equivalent
Comfortable with repetitive tasks
Fluency in French
Comfortable working on a computer
Detail oriented and attentive to accuracy
Strong observational skills
Ability to work quickly while maintaining quality standards
Ability to remain focused for long periods
Comfortable working in a team and communicating with others

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of photography (an asset)
Knowledge of Photoshop, Lightroom, or Excel is an asset; training will be provided for other tools

Responsibilities

Crop photos according to predefined standards
Generate work orders for production using the Salesforce client management software
Receive and import photos into the system while verifying the compliance of client identification cards
Ensure photo quality (individual and group photos) according to company standards
Flag any photos that do not meet quality standards
Review and retouch problematic photos
Perform green screen extraction and retouching of group photos
Provide support in production and packaging activities
