About The Position

This role is for a Photo/Metro Equipment Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. The intern will drive a specific project within the Equipment Engineering team, learn about semiconductors and maintenance, the fab way of work, and the Equipment Engineering role. The intern will report out to senior management about the project results, benefits to NXP, and learnings.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical preferred
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in electromechanical system construction, repair, and/or maintenance
• Must be returning to school or graduating at the conclusion of the internship term. If graduating prior to July 2027, apply to Entry Level full-time roles.

• Prefer Dec 2027 and May 2028 graduation dates

Responsibilities
