Micron Idaho Semiconductor Manufacturing (Triton) LLC is seeking a Photo Equipment Engineer. This role involves performing installation, functionality, and maintenance of equipment toolsets, including all hardware and software, and their interfaces with other systems. The engineer will maintain tool performance based on production availability and quality metrics, using data analysis to prioritize equipment engineering efforts. Responsibilities include conducting audits, submitting safety issue reports, and maintaining tools according to documentation. The role requires partnering with suppliers, process owners, and Shift Engineers/Technicians, analyzing data for critical decisions and cost reduction, and providing support for advanced problems. Collaboration with High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) sites to identify workstation efficiency improvements, manage inventory for maintenance parts, and partner with equipment owners on projects are also key aspects. Engagement with construction diagrams and CAD files, direct responsibility for photo equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, performance improvement, uptime support, and process equipment interaction are central to the role. Success will be measured by uptime and wafer output. Regular interaction with engineering, drafting, construction, and supplier contacts demonstrates strong cross-group communication skills. Contribution to technical discussions and multi-stakeholder email threads indicates involvement in resolving equipment issues and clarifying specifications.
