About The Position

Candidates should demonstrate experience delivering explicit, systematic phonics instruction through established programs such as Reading, SPIRE, and Sounds Sensible. Candidates should have a strong understanding of evidence-based phonics practices, consistently implement prescribed lesson sequences with fidelity, and confidently deliver instruction that builds students’ foundational reading skills and supports their progression toward fluent, accurate reading. The program will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. As an Education Champion, you'll provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in core subjects like Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Science, and Regents exam prep. You’ll collaborate with teachers and school leaders to deliver engaging, personalized learning strategies that help students thrive academically and personally. Requirements

• Minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
• Available to work 10-35 hours per week at assigned school(s).
• Ready to work alongside teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors to maximize student success.
