This role is within the Special Education department and reports to the Director of Specialized Student Services. The primary function is to provide instruction to students who are at-risk academically and behaviorally. This includes delivering small group instruction in Reading, reinforcing skills and strategies, and maintaining an activity log. The position also involves collaborating with classroom teachers weekly to plan supplemental programming, accommodation strategies, and differentiated instruction. Continuous professional development is expected through seminars, workshops, and meetings. The role also encompasses other duties related to Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS).
