About The Position

Cancer Specialists of North Florida is recruiting an experienced Phone Room Receptionist for its busy Ascension Riverside Office. The role is responsible for answering, screening, and transferring incoming telephone calls politely and in a timely manner, while providing first-class customer service. The receptionist interacts with client personnel and CSNF team members in an autonomous, responsible, professional, and ethical manner. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, at 2 Shircliff Way, MVT Cancer Center, Jacksonville, FL 32204. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience answering phones and directing calls in a medical office setting.
• General knowledge of medical terminology and various insurance plans.
• Exceptional customer service and telephone skills.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Knowledge of office equipment such as computers, fax machines, and photocopiers.

Responsibilities

• Answer, screen, and direct telephone calls with first-class customer service.
• Interact with client personnel and CSNF team members in an autonomous, responsible, professional, and ethical manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
