Phlebotomy Technician Extra on call Pms

About The Position
This position is responsible for collecting blood specimens through venipuncture or skin puncture, preparing specimens for testing, and processing and accessioning specimens. The role is in the Emergency Department and is scheduled for the PM shift, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid phlebotomy certification with the State of California Department of Health Services.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card.
- Excellent venipuncture skills.
- Effective communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of phlebotomy experience in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
