About The Position
This position is responsible for procuring blood specimens through venipuncture or skin puncture, preparing specimens for testing, and processing and accessioning specimens. The position is listed as part-time and on-call, with a PM shift from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid phlebotomy certification from the State of California Department of Health Services.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card.
- Excellent venipuncture skills.
- Effective communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of phlebotomy experience in an acute care setting.
