About The Position
Committed to care, our Phlebotomy Technicians make it possible to bring comfort, calm, and compassion. Join a team of 26 Phlebotomists in a fast-paced inpatient unit drawing blood for laboratory tests as requested by physicians in accordance with established procedures. This is a part-time evening phlebotomy position (2 pm - 10 pm), every other weekend. Rotating holidays.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge of principles of infection control and normal anatomy required.
- Customer service skills required.
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy Certification from National Phlebotomy Association preferred.
- One year prior venipuncture experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Drawing blood for laboratory tests as requested by physicians in accordance with established procedures.
