Phlebotomy Technician II PRN
About The Position
This position performs all duties of a Phlebotomist Tech II, including routine blood collection for patients of all age groups, including neonates and infants. The role also requires the knowledge and skills to work in the Laboratory specimen processing and receiving area, provide age-appropriate care to patients in the assigned area, and register patients and specimens competently. The urgent care locations are open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Evening, weekend, and holiday work is required. Shifts may range from 8 to 12 hours. The position requires flexibility to work at all seven urgent care locations; location preferences will be considered.
Requirements
- At least one year of phlebotomy experience with all age groups.
- Current, active phlebotomy certification from a national agency.
- High school diploma, GED, or certificate.
- Work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Work shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours.
- Flexibility to work at all seven urgent care locations.

- Demonstrated ability to interact successfully with patients, staff, and other healthcare providers.
- Demonstrated ability to handle customer service questions and communicate effectively.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant computer skills for the patient identification system and specimen processing functions.
- Valid driver's license.
