About The Position
Collects blood from inpatients, outpatients, and nursing homes according to established procedures and policies. The work includes capillary punctures and venipuncture on infants and adults, and radial arterial punctures on adults. The posted schedule begins at 4:00 AM, with a variable end time of 1:30 PM, 3:15 PM, or 4:30 PM.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Good work history in customer-service-skills-focused positions, emphasizing excellent attendance, a strong work ethic, and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
- Collect blood from inpatients, outpatients, and nursing homes according to established procedures and policies.
- Perform capillary punctures and venipuncture on infants and adults.
- Perform radial arterial punctures on adults.
