About The Position

The Phlebotomy Services Specialist performs phlebotomy and various technical, nontechnical, and clerical functions at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. This is an onsite casual position covering call-outs and paid time off on first and second shifts. The posting lists FTE as 0.001 and standard hours as 0.01; holidays and weekends are not scheduled.

Requirements

• Completion of an approved phlebotomy program or related health care experience that includes direct patient contact.
• Ability to read and write well enough to understand and follow equipment operating instructions and instructions for use (IFUs), and complete required documentation.
• Basic arithmetic skills to count instruments and complete count sheets.
• Basic computer skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 venipunctures.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ASCP certification.
