About The Position

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the company to patients visiting for routine healthcare or important health decisions. The role collects quality blood samples and prepares specimens for laboratory testing, following established practices and procedures. It involves direct patient contact and requires creating trust and confidence while explaining procedures and collecting specimens skillfully, safely, and accurately. The PSR I demonstrates leadership behaviors, process excellence, and sensitivity to confidentiality and accurate patient information. The position is onsite in Venice, Florida, and is a four-month contract. The schedule is 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with flexibility and availability required for staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call work, and overtime.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 6 months of experience.
Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal onsite supervision.
Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
Flexibility and availability based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call work, and overtime.
Keyboard and data-entry experience.

Nice To Haves

Medical assistant or paramedic training.
Phlebotomy certification (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
One year of phlebotomy experience.
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment.
