About The Position

Phlebotomist needed for primarily oncology patients; some genetic testing. Patient population includes adults to geriatrics. The role involves approximately 200 visits per day. Experience with Epic Beaker is required, and familiarity with SBAR is expected. This position requires working every other weekend and floating within the facility and scope of practice if needed. Compliance is required to start on time, with a potential two-week delay if not compliant due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Candidates will undergo a clinical screen to determine fit, and if successful and within Piedmont guidelines, will be sent to the manager for a final decision. Locals are accepted at the same rate. The number of Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) hours is determined by the contract length.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Experience with Epic Beaker.
• Familiarity with SBAR.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Willingness to float within the facility and scope of practice.
• Ability to work major holidays as specified.
• Full compliance required to start on time.
