Laboratory - Phlebotomist
About The Position
Phlebotomist needed for MH CLINICAL LAB. Travel experience is highly preferred, and candidates should call out if they are first-time travelers. Experience in a Trauma center and using EPIC/handheld Rover device is preferred. Clinicians may be scheduled between Mission Viejo and Laguna Beach and can be floated between locations at any time before or during their shift. Weekends may exceed every other to meet department needs. Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered. The local radius is 50 miles. Start date is ASAP. This is an acute care hospital with 488 total staffed beds. Charting is done via Epic. Parking is free.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience required (hard stop).
- CPT, CPT 1 certification required.
- CA State License required.
- Must be available to work a minimum of every other weekend, likely exceeding this to meet department needs.
- Must be available for on-call duties.
- Must be able to float between Mission Viejo and Mission Laguna Beach.
- Must include RTO at time of submission.
- First-timers not accepted, but can screen if 3+ years of experience.
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Perform phlebotomy procedures.
- Float between Mission Viejo and Laguna Beach locations.
- Float to Providence Mission Laguna if required.
