About The Position

Contributes to the Hospitals mission by drawing blood from patients and collecting and documenting specimens based on physician orders. This clinical staff position is the face of the lab, providing phlebotomy draws with attention to patient comfort and physician orders. Timely and accurate processing and documentation of specimens impact the entire laboratory process.

The position is 40 hours per week on the evening shift, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Staff must be vaccinated against influenza as a condition of employment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy experience or certification.
• Influenza vaccination as a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of clerical or secretarial experience.
• Phlebotomy certification.
