About The Position

Following established procedures, obtains blood specimens for clinical laboratory analysis for the patient population served by UMH-West. Distributes specimens promptly to the laboratory, performs waived point-of-care testing, and maintains clinical and professional competency.

The position is scheduled for days at 40 hours per week. It is not on-call and includes weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of college, preferably pre-med or pre-MLS.
• Certification after one year of experience from ASCP, ASPT, NCA, or AMT.
• Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant training or experience.

Responsibilities
