About The Position

Pride Health is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract opportunity in Van Wert, Ohio. The assignment is expected to last 3–4 months or longer, with a high possibility of conversion to full-time employment. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with rotational weekend shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The pay rate is $17–$21 per hour.

The Phlebotomist performs blood collection from patients of all age groups, processes specimens, conducts EKGs, and completes order entry and verification tasks safely, accurately, and professionally.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of phlebotomy experience.

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood from patients of all age groups using venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Process specimens and perform EKGs in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
• Enter orders and retrieve and verify patient collection data and special notations using appropriate sources.
