About The Position

The Phlebotomist performs venipuncture and related procedures in accordance with hospital and department philosophy, policies, and procedures. Under the direct supervision of the Phlebotomy Team Lead, this role also serves as a departmental ambassador and provides excellent customer service. The position is full-time on the day shift, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at Adena Main Lab in Chillicothe. The role does not have access to funds. Requirements

Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (PBT/CPT) as outlined in AHS Laboratory SOP Name: Certification Pathway and Certification.
Excellent customer relations skills.
Mathematical, verbal, and written skills at the high school level.

Nice To Haves

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and/or Electrocardiogram (EKG) capability as needed depending on the position; hospital/laboratory phlebotomists are not required to have CPR/EKG.
