About The Position

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the company to patients and collects quality blood samples for laboratory testing. The role prepares specimens according to established practices and procedures and involves direct patient contact. The PSR I explains procedures and draws blood skillfully, safely, and accurately while building patient trust and confidence. The position emphasizes process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy in handling patient information.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 6 months of experience.
Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
Flexibility and availability based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call work, and overtime.
Keyboard and data-entry experience.
Authorization to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship or transfer is not available.

Nice To Haves

Medical assistant or paramedic training.
Phlebotomy certification; certification is required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
One year of phlebotomy experience.
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment.
