About The Position

Mercy Medical Center is hiring Phlebotomists to support its mission of compassionate care in a supportive and empowering environment. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must have passed an accredited course including clinical experience, or have at least one year of continuous phlebotomy experience.

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely collect blood samples via venipunctures, heel-sticks, and finger sticks.
• Be responsible for the quality of blood samples.
• Verify patient identification.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort by following established standards.
• Adhere to Customer Service Excellence.
