About The Position

Work Schedule : This is a part-time, 60% FTE position. Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM, and every third weekend from 4:30 AM - 11:00 AM. Rotating holidays and on-call shifts required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Candidates must be available to complete full-time training Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, for a period of 6 to 8 weeks upon hire. Pay: This position may be eligible for a $1,500 sign-on bonus. Additional components of compensation may include: Weekend differential On-call pay Be part of something remarkable Play an important role in delivering information to a patient’s provider about their health so that they can diagnose and treat them properly. We are seeking a Phlebotomist to: Perform standardized and specialized phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages. Ensure proper patient identification and specimen labeling. Complete specimen receiving and specimen processing. Patient check-in and order entry of laboratory tests in the laboratory information system.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
Completion of accredited Phlebotomy Training program and clinical rotation (Preferred)
One year of experience in phlebotomy and/or healthcare (Preferred)
Phlebotomist (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or equivalent (Preferred)

Responsibilities
