Phlebotomist – Clinical Labs
About The Position
Work Schedule : This is a full-time, 100% FTE position. Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, and every third weekend from 4:30 AM - 1:00 PM. Rotating holidays and on-call shifts required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Pay: This position may be eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Additional components of compensation may include: Weekend differential On-call pay Be part of something remarkable Play an important role in delivering information to a patient’s provider about their health so that they can diagnose and treat them properly. We are seeking a Phlebotomist to: Perform standardized and specialized phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages. Ensure proper patient identification and specimen labeling. Complete specimen receiving and specimen processing. Patient check-in and order entry of laboratory tests in the laboratory information system.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- Completion of accredited Phlebotomy Training program and clinical rotation (Preferred)
- One year of experience in phlebotomy and/or healthcare (Preferred)
- Phlebotomist (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or equivalent (Preferred)
