About The Position

Work Schedule : This is a part-time, 80% FTE position. Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday from 4:30 AM – 1:00 PM. Every third weekend, rotating holidays, and on-call shifts required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Candidates must be available to complete full-time training Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, for a period of 6 to 8 weeks upon hire. Pay: This position may be eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Additional components of compensation may include: Weekend differential On-call pay Be part of something remarkable Play an important role in delivering information to a patient’s provider about their health so that they can diagnose and treat them properly. We are seeking a Phlebotomist to: Perform standardized and specialized phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages. Ensure proper patient identification and specimen labeling. Complete specimen receiving and specimen processing. Patient check-in and order entry of laboratory tests in the laboratory information system.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Completion of accredited Phlebotomy Training program and clinical rotation (Preferred)
  • One year of experience in phlebotomy and/or healthcare (Preferred)
  • Phlebotomist (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or equivalent (Preferred)
