About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role involves providing exceptional customer service, performing skilled specimen collections, and representing the company to patients. The position offers opportunities for continued growth within the organization. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; work hours can vary. Travel to additional sites may be required when needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven track record of exceptional customer service.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Comfort working under minimal supervision.
Reliable transportation and a clean driving record, if applicable.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must be from an accredited agency.

Nice To Haves

Phlebotomy certification or completion of a phlebotomy training program.
At least 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other purposes.
Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to patients.
Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
