About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in Panama City, Florida, on a PRN basis as needed during the third shift. The role provides customer service, performs specimen collections, and represents Labcorp to patients. The position may include travel to additional sites when needed and offers opportunities for continued growth within the organization.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist.
• Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfort working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record, if applicable.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• If work experience is not available, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must be from an accredited agency.

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a phlebotomy training program.
• At least 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other purposes.
• Enter patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
