About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a client office in Tucson, Arizona. The role provides exceptional customer service, performs skilled specimen collections, and serves as a representative of the company. The position offers opportunities for continuous growth within the organization. Phlebotomists may be eligible to participate in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with additional days and hours as needed. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfort working under minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy certification, completion of a phlebotomy training program, or at least one year of experience as a phlebotomist.
• When substituted for work experience, phlebotomy certification or training must be from an accredited agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other testing.
• Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
