About The Position
Performs phlebotomy procedures in accordance with standard policy and procedure guidelines. Draws blood from patients in a physician's office or clinic, or similar facility, for analysis or other medical purposes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- No work experience is required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience as a phlebotomist.
- Experience working in healthcare.
- Phlebotomy Technician Certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA, or an equivalent agency.
Responsibilities
- Performs venipunctures and obtains and prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures.
