About The Position
Performs phlebotomy procedures according to standard policies and procedures. Draws blood from patients in a physician’s office, clinic, or similar facility for analysis or other medical purposes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- No prior experience required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience as a phlebotomist.
- Experience working in healthcare.
- Phlebotomy Technician Certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA, or an equivalent agency.
Responsibilities
- Performs venipunctures and obtains and prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures.
