About The Position

Parsley Health is seeking a detail-oriented, personable, and experienced part-time Phlebotomist to join its NYC clinic team. The role combines phlebotomy skills with operational support for clinic workflows, inventory management, and patient experience initiatives. The Phlebotomist helps maintain high standards of care, safety, and efficiency in a modern wellness setting. The position is based at the Parsley Health NYC Center and is scheduled three days per week—Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Occasional flexibility for coverage or extended hours may be needed.

Requirements

Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification.
At least 2 years of phlebotomy experience.
Experience with clinic operations or administrative support in a healthcare setting.
Familiarity with EMR systems such as Cerbo or Acuity.
Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
Comfort working independently under minimal supervision in a startup or fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment.

Nice To Haves

Phlebotomy experience in a high-volume and/or wellness-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

Perform venipunctures and specimen collection.
Label, process, and prepare samples for shipment to external labs.
Ensure proper patient identification and maintain accurate documentation.
Monitor and restock medical and lab inventory.
Assist with ordering and tracking lab kits and supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and compliance of lab and exam spaces.
Support daily clinic opening and closing procedures and patient flow.
Handle specimen drop-offs and support specimen shipments.
Educate patients about the phlebotomy process and answer related questions.
Document patient interactions in the EMR system and communicate clearly with the care team.
Uphold a welcoming and professional patient experience.
