About The Position
Collects blood samples and other specimens from both inpatients and outpatients in a professional and timely manner, consistent with accepted standards of quality patient care. Also performs clerical, receptionist, and customer service duties.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider card
- Stroke education is required. Refer to Administrative Policy A-148 for specific education requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Training in phlebotomy or medical assistant course
- Previous experience in phlebotomy and direct patient care
