Phlebotomist - Full Time
About The Position
Valley Medical Group is a provider-owned, multi-specialty group that serves over 55,000 patients across four locations in the Pioneer Valley. The group is seeking a Phlebotomist to join their Laboratory team at the Greenfield Health Center. This role requires the ability to collect blood from patients of all ages through venipuncture, excellent attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and proficiency in computers, data entry, and the operation of medical equipment. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, generally scheduled Monday-Friday between 3:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with the exact schedule to be discussed during the interview.
Requirements
- Graduate from a Phlebotomy Program or Medical Assistant Program
- Previous customer service or medical office experience
Nice To Haves
- CPT preferred, but not required
- EMR experience preferred, Athena experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Collecting samples from patients of all ages
- Processing and accessions of clinical specimens
- Checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, answering phones, greeting patients
